Welcome to Lebanon Presbyterian Church in Lebanon, Virginia!

In our worship at Lebanon Presbyterian Church, we still proclaim the foundation of our faith that Christ died, Christ has risen and we await the return of Christ for those Believers. We unite to worship God and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with each other, as well as our community. We call on the Holy Spirit, as we support each other in prayer and spiritual growth. We worship, study, and fellowship with joy, forgiveness, and faithfulness as we seek to live out our love of God and our neighbor. Please come and join us!

Rev. Robert Tolar, Sr. – LPC 7th Minister 2002

The 2002 year brought about many changes in the Lebanon Presbyterian Church.  Rev. Robert Tolar, Sr. served as Parish Pastor of Southwest VA.   He served as a speaker at LPC and occasionally rotated with other parish pastors.  In August 2002, he left the parish and accepted the ministry of the First Presbyterian Church in Escanaba MI.  After Rev. Tolar left, no one was here to permanently head up the parish, however LPC had the services of Rev. Dr. Earle Barron of Johnson City as Interim Parish Pastor.  He lived between Johnson City and our Lebanon manse.   Associates pastors of the parish was Rev. Guy Hunt Jr. and Rev Dr. Murray Ziegenfuss.  Rev. Eddie Nash former Associate pastor has retired and was very much missed in the area.  Other pulpit supply ministers to fill our pulpit were Dr. Terry Morris, Mr. Joe McGlothlin, Rev. George Conn and the Rev. Bill McDaniel.  Throughout the year, the Parish Council continued to meet but was eventually dissolved.

Rev. Bob Tolar and Doris celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary earlier this year and will help lead our Worship Service on us October 6th as we celebrate our 60th church anniversary.
