LPC’s Joy Gift 2022 Celebration was extra special this year. Our worship service included a Dedication Ceremony for the Bottigliere family and an Appreciation Recognition for Emily Sword.
Memorial donations received in memory of our beloved church member Gail Bottigliere, who passed away in February 2021 helped the church to purchase new Carillon Bell Chimes. Her family was recognized today with a plaque presentation to honor this beautiful gift. Gail will remain in our hearts and memories.
Emily Sword was recognized for her many years of dedicated service to LPC, as Choir Director, Sunday School teacher, Session member, Session Clerk, loyal church member and friend as we prepare for her moving to Wytheville. “Well done, good and faithful servant.” We love you and will miss you, Emily!
