God has called us and designed us to rest from physical labor. In the Old Testament, we see God’s own pattern of working and resting. “And on the seventh day, God ended His work which He had made; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it He had rested from all His work which God created and made”. Genesis 2:1-3
Resting allows us to quiet ourselves before God and revives our minds, bodies, and spirits. Join us on Sunday, June 2nd, at 11:00am, as we observe the Sabbath and celebrate Holy Communion. Rev. Thomas Quickel, Jr. leads our worship service with his message, “Rest for your Body.”
Ours is not a Presbyterian table, for it is the Lord’s table. All are welcome here.
