“Jesus knew that he would be betrayed before he arrived in Jerusalem, but he still loved, and he still forgave. This should be a lesson for us. We also experience betrayal by our friends and family and even from ourselves as we fall into sin. Holding on to resentment and anger can fill our hearts with bitterness, leaving no room for God.
The Lenten journey leads us to Palm Sunday. This is our invitation to let go of grudges, seek reconciliation, and make room for Christ in our hearts. Just as Jesus forgave those who abandoned him, we are called to forgive so that we can truly welcome his presence into our lives.”
Rev. Thomas Quickel leads our worship service on this Palm Sunday – April 13th, at 11:00am. All are welcome here.
