The hymn “Count Your Blessings” specifically suggests turning to God with your troubles and recognizing the blessings He provides. It emphasizes that even in difficult circumstances, there are things to be grateful for. “You can live a blessed life by being a doer of the Word and not just a hearer.” (James 1:22).
Being blessed is more than a gift of material prosperity. It’s a state of being linked with a deeper connection to the one true God and all that He is. Father. Son. Holy Spirit.
Tracy McGlothlin led our worship service last Sunday with her message, “Feeling Over-Blessed.” All are welcome here
