The gifts are opened, the gatherings are ending, and the decorations are coming down. For many, Christmas feels finished. But the truth is, Christmas was never meant to end on a day.
Christmas is not about a moment. The true intent of Christmas is not found in what we celebrated, but in how we live because Christ has come. The shepherds returned changed. The wise men went home a different way. Mary carried the presence of Christ into everyday life. Christmas continued because lives were transformed.
Christmas begins when the grace we received becomes grace we extend, when the love we celebrated becomes love we show, and when the peace we sang about becomes the peace we practice. Christmas was never meant to stay in the manger. It was meant to shape our lives. So let the season end, if it must, but let true Christmas begin in our hearts and in the way we live.
Join us this Sunday, as Tracy McGlothlin leads our worship service with her message, “Let Christmas Begin.” All are welcome here.
