Please join us at LPC for worship on Sunday, August 2, at 11:00 a.m. as Rev. Thomas Quickel shares his message, “Peace, Peace, When There Is No Peace.”
These words from the prophet Jeremiah warn against declaring that everything is fine while ignoring wounds, injustice, and division. True peace is more than comforting words or the absence of conflict. It requires honesty, humility, healing, and reconciliation.
Scripture reminds us that we cannot find genuine peace by denying conflict or pretending that nothing is wrong. We must name what is broken, surrender our pride, and allow God to lead us toward healing.
Come worship, reflect, and pray with us as we consider what it means to seek God’s true and lasting peace. All are welcome here.
