Preparing Our Hearts for the Holidays
Is your heart ready for the holiday season?
The holidays are just around the corner, and with them come busy schedules, endless to-do lists, family gatherings, and the hustle and bustle of the season. But in the midst of all the preparations, are we taking time to prepare what matters most: our hearts?
This Sunday at 11:00 AM, we invite you to join us at LPC as Tracy McGlothin leads our worship service and shares her message, “Preparing Our Hearts for the Holidays.”
Scripture reminds us that preparing for the holidays is about more than decorating our homes, planning meals, or buying gifts. Psalm 100 and Colossians 3 call us to approach life with thanksgiving, allow the peace of Christ to guide our hearts, and remember God’s goodness and faithfulness. They challenge us to make gratitude more than a seasonal feeling and instead let it become a way of life.
What if, before we prepared our homes for the holidays, we prepared our hearts for His presence?
What if we chose gratitude over complaining, peace over worry, and love over the pressures and expectations of the season?
As we enter this special time of year, let’s remember that a heart filled with Christ’s peace and gratitude is one of the greatest gifts we can share with others.
Come worship with us as we turn our hearts toward God and prepare for the season ahead!
Bring your family, invite a friend, and come with a heart ready to worship! All are welcome here.
