Join us at LPC this Sunday, November 1st, at 11:00 AM, as Rev. Thomas Quickel leads worship with a message titled “Small and Mighty,” inspired by Matthew 5:14–16.
In this passage, Jesus reminds us, “You are the light of the world.” He tells us that a city on a hill cannot be hidden and that no one lights a lamp only to place it under a basket. Instead, the light is lifted high so that it can shine for everyone.
What a powerful reminder that we don’t have to be big, powerful, or extraordinary to make a difference in God’s kingdom! Even the smallest light can brighten a dark place. Through simple acts of kindness, compassion, faith, and love, God can use ordinary people to do mighty things.
As we reflect on our LPC congregation, our size does not determine our impact. What matters is our willingness to let God’s light shine through us. And when we shine, we help others see God’s goodness and love.
Come worship with us as we explore what it means to be the light of the world and how even the smallest congregation, the simplest act of love, or the quietest expression of faith can have a lasting impact.
Bring a friend, come as you are, and discover how God can use each of us to shine brightly in the world. All are welcome here.
